The book came to life during one intense week in a hotel in the Argentine Northwest. Almost half of the poems were written during that week, while the rest were derived from older musings, some dating back more than a decade.
The author wishes to never go through such a period again and wants to remind both themselves and others of the benefits of tending to bodily needs and adopting sensible sleep patterns, even in moments of inspiration.
To burn is one thing; to stay alive is another.
Inside Fire is the author’s debut work.
